Job & Career Panels

Hennepin County Library hosts panels at the Opportunity Center that provide a platform for East African professionals to discuss their careers and answer questions about their education and job path. Panel topics have included: healthcare, entrepreneurship, information technology, law enforcement, and jobs with Hennepin County.

Work Readiness is an intensive program meant to build soft and hard skills, discover values, and boost confidence for professional career growth.

Digital Foundations Workshop

Digital Foundations is a free workshop that is available to participants and is meant to help develop digital skills for professional career growth. Some of the topics covered are: basic computer terminology, Microsoft Word, email, and internet usage. Upon completion, you will be able to better navigate the digital world.
